Perez Hilton thrives off the mistakes and misery of others. On his blog , he routinely mocks, slanders, and savagely trashes those whom he believes deserve it.
He is both acerbic and cruel. Whether accurate or not, whether fair or not, his commentary is almost always memorable.
He shows no mercy.
And he deserves none.
On Sunday June 13th, the self-declared "Queen of all Media" posted a link to an "upskirt" picture of Disney super-star Miley Cyrus sans underwear. Miley Cyrus is only 17 years old. The...

Sony's reboot of the Spider-Man series to appeal to the Twilight crowd--by putting Peter Parker back in high school (as well as in 3D of course)--has justly been met with criticism. Not necessarily because of the changes to the character, or his setting, but because of the motivations behind the decision. There was really no reason to reboot the series as Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi were ready to come back and do a fourth film. What was obvious to most was that the studio was far more worried about... Tim Furious :
When a TV series ends, there's rarely a consensus amongst fans as to whether or not they liked it. Infamously fans of "The Sapranos" were left hanging by a blackout ending that nearly caused enraged fans to burn down the internet. Fans of "Lost" seem fragmented on the ending. That's why I loved the ending of "24" so much. The few that stayed to see how Jack Bauer's final crusade would finish were treated to a great ending.
The internet age is too smart for its own good. I remember back to...

To borrow an analogy from a former professor of mine, last night's episode of LOST was like Damon and Carlton (a.k.a Darlton) held a handful of Lego out to us and said "there you go, you build it." I have very mixed feelings about "Across the Sea". The acting left something to be desired, the dialogue was not what we would expect from a Damon and Carlton penned episode, and the answers we got--in true LOST fashion--raised more questions.
"Any answers I give you will only result in more questions." So...

Mark Hunter:
"You've reached the voicemail of President Charles Logan..."
Words fail me. This episode clearly ranks in the pantheon of 24 masterpieces. The look on Bauer's face as the episode cuts off for the next hour was unbelievable. Kiefer Sutherland has just been immortalized.
And just think of what he's going to do when he sees the imminent press conference announcing Logan's involvement with President Taylor.
It will make what he did to that Russian look like sheer child's play. I am quite...

Mark Hunter:
"What can I do Jack?"
"Nothing."
Well, it may have taken nearly 20 hours to do it, but finally Dana Walsh is dead. I was expecting something bit more macabre for her death, but Jack simply shooting her point blank while staring her down in the face was still pretty dramatic. There was simply no way she could survive after this episode, having killed another series of innocent civilians without a shred of remorse.
One traitor down, lord knows how many to go.
It was a bit cheesy to say...

Mark Hunter and Tim Furious debate the merits of Episode 19 .
Mark Hunter:
Furious,
I'm on location this week in Florida, so forgive me if my replies are a bit delayed. Between dodging the occasional hurricane and trying to survive the 100 degree heat it's taking its toll on me. But I intend to pull a Jack Bauer myself and try to pull through the impossible odds. I know, you feel my pain.
Bad humour aside, last night's episode was a little slow for me. I can see where they're going with this -...

Mark Hunter and Tim Furious exchange emails after Episode 18 of "24". Needless to say, the ending left both of their rumor mills spinning!
Mark Hunter Begins:
Wow. I really didn't think this season could get that much better. But 20 seconds into this episode, and you can already tell Bauer's going to go in-freakin-sane.
His desire for revenge after losing Renee Walker wasn't enough though. Because that would be just too easy. If Jack could just hunt down and kill off the terrorists' Russian...

Every week until the series finishes, Mark Hunter and Tim Furious will discuss the latest episode of 24. This week features episode 17.
Mark Hunter:
When an episode begins with sappy music and a character staring longingly out a window, I'm always afraid it's going to be overly sad and sentimental. Such was my fear tonight. But sweet zombie Jesus! Looks like I was happily wrong!
Another layer to the conspiracy?
Chloe in charge of CTU? Hassan's prudish wife as president? Bauer finally gets it on!...

Unless you spent the majority of the '80s in hiding, you knew Corey Haim. Due to his early days on Canadian television and his subsequent rise to fame in teen films of the 1980s, Haim was a recognizable face. However, as the '90s came in, Haim seemed to bow out, disappearing on the big screen and in our minds. It would be nice to be able to say that Corey Haim chose this exit from film and the media, but that is not the case. In reality, the film industry shut him out, and the media virtually stopped...
